Am I sure? The one that Japper shows is actually for a January 1928 to December 1929 vehicle, even though it pictures 1930-'31 bumpers. The one that Piewagn pictures, was used from March1930 until May of 1931. Six styles were used during Model A production.

Piewagn, I have a copy of the M.A.R.C. and M.A.F.C.A. Judging Standards on my desk, opened to the page with pictures of all the cross braces used during Model A production. If you would like, I can Xerox the page and send it to you! 1928 thru January 1930 they were flat. From January 1930 until the end of production they were cupped.
