I rode down to my favorite old scrap hole and was looking for a few parts for a GOOD friend of mine and took a few photos ....

This is just a sample of the junk they waste. I could make a real good living on eBay selling what they crush, bust or destroy.

The 59 Ford is for enenjo ... he told me one time he had never seen more than 3 or 4 57 - 59 Fords with the rear ends under them . This guy has a least a dozen .

  8. If that Caddy has the "De ville" scripts on the back quarters, you might want to grab them, only the Conv. had Capital "D"s in De ville, and the restorers love 'em.

Nice pictures. That yard looks like the stuff from the yard where I bought my present project. Could be that the owner is just too "old school" and doesn't like doing the computer thing, so they just sit, waiting for someone to come to them. About crushing the cars, that is a mortal sin! Thankfully the yard I know is well organized, the guy knows what he has, which cars are project cars and which cars are parts cars, he has****les and the yard is clean.

    It's a Southeren thing ... :D
Rattlers are pretty common in the sand land.
Around old cars, pine trees and such.

You know someone somewhere would LOVE to have the rear glass from this Victoria ...

If so, tell 'ol Russell I said hi. He's kinda hit and miss on his prices, but has always taken pretty good care of me.

I'm in love with all those early 60's Galaxie Converts!!! Is the guy nuts on prices or what? It's amazing to see all those cars appearing so solid and complete to still be that way, unless he wants alot for them. The one is a 390/406 XL convert, they're worth a buck or two.

That's time warp there. Awesome place.

Based on your location I wonder if you need a radiation suit? :D

How's the pricing? I might want to take a hunting trip this fall.

Just to let ya in on something,
that stainless fender trim on that Chevy panel is worth BigBucks. I've seen complete sets go for over a grand. It's real big with the lowrider crowd.

Most everything you have seen will end up here ... sooner or later. These guys mash over 100 cars a day ... 5 days a week. He has about 60 acres of cars/parts. It started as a parts yard over 30 years ago and has turned into a car crushing business ... :(

Most everything is for sale ... and the prices are NOT what I call unreasonable. They turn some of the older stuff to the side ... until steel prices gets higher $$$

    The phone number is 803 - 359 - 9063 ask for Russell.
But please ... do not call just to chat ...
or blow smoke ... He is NOT STUPID ...
    :)

But he has a lot of stuff ...
Tell him you saw the photos Randy posted ... if you must call ...
