    I thought that was Cecil County, Oldracer does the photo from CC say Dave Hale on the door I cant make it out. Also I seem to remember a concrete barrier of some sort when I was there in 64-65, it was the first time I had seen that at a track.

    1934Coupe, there was a concrete barrier at Cecil County. The photo in 6545 was taken a little further down the track. You can barely see the edge of the barrier in the left side of the photo. And yes, my name is on the door!:)

    John Mazmanian's Willys came into Maple Grove on a trailer Friday afternoon. Did anyone else see it?

    Are those fenders molded in or is it a plastic body?

    noboD I'm sure thats a steel car, the photo is from around 1968. The fenders appear to be molded and extensive work to the wheel opening. Maybe a body man owned car. I'm asking around for info on the car bot you know us old farts, between naps and Geritol we don't get on the computer quickly.

    This from a Dover friend;
    YEP!!! That's Mag Stein,from Ct. the Willys was painted 'purple'! It ran good and did some
    nice wheelies Pat! Only thing I didn't like about it,was he 'molded' in the rear fenders,to the
    body, but that's 'me'! Later he ran a purple '67' Camaro.

    Thanks, I agree. I've never liked molded in fenders on anything.

    I looked at these pix and thought I knew the car, as it turns out my brain still functions. The pictures LB posted are the best that the car ever looked so I think it is late like 67ish. The Willys was a club (The Outlaws) car and Sandy it's long time Pres. The car went through many different looks and lettering. I've attached just two, I remember it as a yellowish mustard color. I can't remember Sandy's last name but he was quite a character. By the way that is The "Aurora 7" Willys of Joe Black behind the "Outlaw"
