Here are three ideas. Classic slots, new Hurst 5 spokes, and a Buick Riviera sport wheels. 1964 Nova 01.jpg 1964 Nova 03.jpg 1964 Nova 02.jpg

Can someone please show me these wheel/tire combinations. Black and yellow wheels with wide whites and Salt Flats with blackwalls. And maybe a little bigger wheel in the back? 17" and more sidewall. Thanks

themoose did this for BigO. Would someone care to tweak it a bit?

What I have in mind is...
    I) drop tail lights beneath side trim
II) pre-'55 wheel covers (Packard's are nice)
III) '46 style skirts (more square in rear)
IV) shortened hood trim (standard Barris mod)
    V) ditch the visor

And thanks a ton to all the contributors on this thread!

"Also the upper grill bar just below the hood black as well."

Why? So it will look like it doesn't belong?

Sometimes it takes a vision to see through the hecklers. That is the joy of this photoshop deal. If it doens't work, no harm, no foul.

Okay -- I apologize for my earlier comments. I should never comment after 3 glasses. I just saw the upper moulding as part of the grille "surround" -- carried thru on the top of the bumper. It looked to me as a pairing of units that surrounded the beautiful selected grille.

The black made such a positive difference. And I wonder how it would look with the black paint with the upper bar still chromed. To me, it would at least be a toss-up. I'd go for the surround. I don't own the car, but I'd be proud of it if I did.

    @Stan Back

    Dear Stan Back,

Not to worry. I don't think there's anyone on this site who hasn't gotten burnt, bent out of
shape, misconstrued or generally pissed someone off.
It comes with the territory. It would be boring otherwise.

    You're in good company.

    Stan Back,
I didn't think it was going to look good either. But, I've learned to wait to comment because I don't like feeling stupid. That doesn't always work, though.

What I don't like is the asymmetric headlight treatment.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion . No harm no foul. It doesn't bother me.
Its my car and I will do what I feel looks good to me. The Photoshop Just helps out instead thinking something will look good and then you have to go back and undo what was done. Which I like have done and I know I am not the only 1.
