Now that I'm at ten featured threads, I know, I know, I feel an increased duty towards the HAMB. In light of that I will with even greater vigour endeavour to pursue additional featured threads. Not for the status but for the betterment of car guys throughout the HAMBiverse. In conclusion I want to thank all that submitted and played along. No questions please...

I have a few featured threads , I think.
I've been waiting for my build thread to be featured but so far after 75 pages and lots of views-replies....no dice

Not sure what the criteria actually is

 

It has to do with how many posts the thread has. I don't know the magic number though

I would say that I am surprised this didn't end up in Questions & Suggestions...as it's a legitimate question about the features of the website...

Sometimes there is leniency granted to have a wee bit of a chuckle as it can be a tad humorous one the comedians check in...Congrats @Fortunateson chances are the other Featured threads were much more inline with well the serious stuff...

I think, to be featured, it has to have a certain number of likes, posts with replies and quotes, within the first three days.

 

I just checked on one of my old "Featured Threads", sadly the featured ribbon is gone, must have passed its shelf life. Bob

Well I appreciate that! And the Horny Tims term I learned back in '74 when I was on a grade twelve exchange trip to Brantford. That's what they all called it and it stuck...

First thing I thought of when I read that "Zed" post was Led Z.

I love Ottawa being a bit of a history buff (taught history for 37 years) and my wife loves it too. We do have friends in Aylmer QC so if we ever get back there I ll make sure I contact you!
