Two stroke outboard motors were pretty common in early midgets and a little later they became very popular in the smaller Three Quarter midget ranks.

did anyone else noticed that what i think is a trailer behind the T right to the center of the pic? for the picture seems to be from the mid 20s the trailer is way ahead its time, streamlined, looks cool. or did my eyes trick me?

View attachment 4507556 Neil Thompson and his record holding 53 Studebaker Comp Coupe. At one time he held every comp coupe record from AA to E. His also was one of the first to use a fire suit. He’s wearing it in the photo. The GMC panel also had a 392 Chrysler for power. He was a great friend and I miss him everyday.
