Cable Grinder - One of the most dangerous tools a metalman could use. The on/off switch was located on the motor stand at the other end of the cable. Get that puppy caught in your shirt and you'd disembowel yourself or at least get badly injured in a matter of seconds. Saw it happen a couple of times.
I remember as a kid I used to follow these guys around to watch the coins fall into the cans they collected them with.
First attached shot looks like Bobby Unser on the inside but I can't identify the other car/driver. I'm guessing El Centro about 1962. I believe the other photo is of the Bill Cheesman Maserati at Indianapolis in either 1939 or 1940. Henry Banks was the driver but missed the show in this car both years.
