Well like i said, I've already talked with Ryan. I have the PM with his permission. Just can't use it for profit per his instruction. Doesn't really matter to me. I can buy 100 signs for $100 from what im reading online. I'll send em to those who want one and use the rest to site in my rifles ;)

YES! But if we tell you what it is, it won't be much of a secret handshake then would it? LOL!

I don't do much HAMB advertising, neither me nor my car are very HAMB friendly, so to to advertise would be confusing for many people.
However, when I see anything HAMB related, I do my best to introduce myself. My car used to be pretty identifiable, but it will look different this summer so it will be like starting over. Gene

If you need a secret handshake then yeah, make one up. And no i don't have a picture. Imagine a 12"X18" white sign board with the red logo in the center. I'm talking about a way to meet cool car guys. You're not required to possess one. If you think this is a stupid idea, then i probably wouldn't wanna sit and drink cold beer with you anyway.

SO just a small hamb logo to put in front of car. That would be good. Spread the word.

Lloyd...cool idea. I think the banner stands for; If you're a member of the HAMB or are HAMB curious, I'd like to talk to you. I think all the other branded stuff doesnt give off as welcoming a vibe. You said you can ship the banner? I'm all the way out in LA...Ron

I'm talking about the 12"x18" weatherproof yard sign. They're less than a buck each. Shouldn't cost much to send one. I'l pay for the signs and give them away, you cover what it cost to send it.

I’d like one of the small license topper and a couple of the decals. I’ve never found them available here.

IMHO I think a HAMB sign about the size of a license plate would be more than adequate.
I’ve met plenty of HAMB members across the country by displaying my tag topper and my Alliance tag in my quarter window.:D

I went back and read all the posts to make sure it wasn't my inner jerk that had me annoyed.

Respectfully speaking, people who had banners in the past, like BobK, they represented this place beyond well. Bob had undeniable integrity and he was all about the community. In my mind, he's on the Rushmore of original members. There wasn't talk of printing off 100 signs or BS like that.

Here's the thing, look at any product that @Ryan has created over the years - they're all premium. Doing this cheapens his brand - it's disrespectful to do anything that discounts something a man has dedicated his life to.

He gave permission to you @Lloyd's paint & glass and that's it. Respect that. Print one, send him something as thanks and rep this place well.

I'm cynical about this topic because I see people rip off ideas or try to profit off of others ideas daily. I just can't stand by when I see that.

100 people didn't make a request of Ryan. Making a request of someone who did - is pretty lame. It's also how stuff spirals out of control.

Alright, back to hot rods for me.

Yeah I explained to Ryan in full what i wanted to do as far as making the signs available to members for identification at venues across the nation, as well as members from all over. I don't plan on drawing something on a piece of cardboard with a crayon that would reflect anything negative to this group, the trademark, or Ryan and what he's created. I even asked him if it could be something he would be interested in doing for profit, because i personally would buy such an identifier. I for one would never desecrate the hamb in anyway. I apologize for being a new member, with a fresh idea to promote this site with BS as you have put it. And i also apologize that the owner gave me his blessing to do something that some doesn't like. I will not sell them. I will be giving them away at MY OWN EXPENSE. As i already stated. And for the number of PM's I've recieved that thinks this is a great idea and have requested a sign, I'll get on it the first of the week. Now back to chilling out and enjoying life :D

And I'm one of them! I was headed into a little joint to have lunch with a buddy, admired your truck, saw the HAMB sticker, went inside, hunted ya down and introduced myself. Glad I did too!

    Good to hear!

    It's not a fresh idea.

You can speak for you, but can you speak for the others?

I'm glad to see there's more than you lead onto.

Also, you may not agree with me, that's cool - I respect that. But you may not understand my stance until that BS happens to you. I hope it doesn't. However, if you create something worthy of your life, it likely would. AND get this... I would speak up for you, too.
