How about a version with four thicker, chrome tubes with translucent rod stock at the ends (covering the headlights)? tapatalk_1578078083541.jpeg

Any chance one of you photoshop wizards could chrome plate the grille surround on this image?

Thanks themoose, that really makes a difference. I think I like it better without the chrome surround, gotta think about that .

Hey guys was wondering if one of y’all could photoshop one for me. I’m starting my project on my f1 which is going to be greatly inspired by torchies f1 he built so I hope he don’t mind if I use his as an example as mine is still in shambles. I would like to see it with running boards And a rag top similar to the one that’s pictured below. Don’t know if I will go that route or not but would love to see what it looks like. Thanks in advance fellas

Much thanks, Moose! I like the coarser texture of these thicker grille bars, but either version would be cool.

That’s more what I’m leaning toward if I do end up doing it

I know its not a great picture, but I saw this on the 50s traditional hot rod thread. Can someone do this in Cloud Mist Gray or Tropical green with blackwall tires? #1.jpg #1a.jpg

If I could only ask one other small miracle from the photoshop wizard named TheMoose, could you add cycle fenders to the front? upload_2020-1-11_8-14-22.jpeg

  23. I have a request for one of the fantastic artists on this thread. I was looking at a 41 Ford Coupe, and wondered if it would be convenient for someone to graft the 40 Deluxe grille into the 41 Ford tinwork?
I would also appreciate it if you could remove the whitewalls.
    Thanks
    Bob

  26. Thanks, Moose.
I had also imagined having the chrome side pieces of the 40 grill added to the front as well as having the 41 side pieces blanked out. I don't know if the curvature of the 41 fender allows this, but the reason I felt it would look better that way, is because it would look wider.

this rail job is just begging for a 4-71 with 4 strombergs on top. of course to fit the drive in, i'd have to recess the firwall 2-3 inches and move the engine back.

  30. OK here it is. I think it's gonna take to ton of metal work on the fenders to get everything to flow but anything is doable if you have enough "Want To":D
