History Found a code I think

    So I was running some speaker wire today and decided to pull out the back seat. I seen this little piece of what I'm guessing is aluminum with some numbers on it. I've always wanted to find my actual Vin number to try and find out where my car came from, who started to put some custom touches on it and who owned before the last guy I bought it from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There is a sticker I decided to leave on the windshield that says happy birthday Burbank, census 2010. I'm guessing that it's Illinois not California haha.     kind of rusty for aluminum :)

    That's the seat number, not the car's serial number.

    I just figured it was aluminum because of how easily plyable it was haha

    That tag is steel. Interesting fact that many, many years ago they began to be noticed in foreign lands and were the inspiration for the metal gauge used in the bodies of cars from these same lands...
