Actually they weren't singing "Little Deuce Coupe" in this shot... It was the 1963 recording of the song "No - Go Showboat" That was a term used to describe a car that was all show and no go. In this song they are not singing about or even mentioning a "Little Deuce Coupe" actually I don't think they say anything about a roadster either. But back then people weren't so critical on categorizing types of "Hot Rods" and it was more up to the producers to what cars were on stage, and they were usually clueless on the subject, the Beach Boy's just sung there songs and smiled all the way to the bank.
