All I can say, you can accidentally get into some really weird &$@t on an iPhone display if you hit the wrong*****ons when not looking at the screen. I've had to reboot to get things back to functioning. Something something screen magnifier. It's generally also a Bad Idea to start changing stuff around deep inside the Settings when you're bored.

Once, (once) converted everything over to Danish or Finnish or some BS language like that once. Cool! Let's try that, does it really work? Yes. Yes it does. Everything. Every Thing. And - danged if I could find how to switch it back .. because ... Surprise! Nothing was in English. Doh!!

Yup, I'm that stupid. It took a while but I got 'er back.

So what browsers are you using so we know which ones it works with? I'm using Firefox and not only does it adjust your text size, it also remembers what size you last set it to and recalls that setting when you come back to the site later. It doesn't just automatically enlarge the text on every site you visit.

I use Chrome and it works like that too. It remembers your settings for each page. I used to use Firefox, but it got wonky with updates, then the last one jumbled my organized bookmarks up I could never restore them. Luckily I had already copied them to Chrome, so they are like I had them to start with.

"The Safari Reader mode is a handy feature that will transform a webpage into a customizable, easy to read text that is devoid of ads, sidebars, navigation and anything else that distracts from your reading experience. It makes a website cleaner and easier to read."

  11. My 1960 iPhone doesn’t have that feature.
That’s why I was trying to figure out how I accidentally done it.

It's never a bad idea to have at least two browsers at your disposal. ;)
