  2. Only took me 4 years to get a copy of the magazine that Snoopy was featured in hanging on the wall, these things take time - you know, the 10 minutes to stop at Michael's & 5 minutes to install & hang... lol 20191222_211725.jpg

I bought a sign for my wife that says

"If a man says he will fix it, he will!
There is no need to remind him every six months about it!"

Didn't do much good though, she still gets after me to do stuff. Lol!

Love this sign, but I can almost guarantee the reminders come a whole lot sooner!

  14. Everyone seems to have some more spare time right now, I decided to crop the pictures from the old signboard the previous owner had made up in the late 60's, these were all taken in 1967, in fact the previous owners widow remembers the day they took a drive north of town & captured these shots !

That’s odd, snoopy looks exactly the same as he did 53 years ago? I know of not a single person that can pull off that feat.

Cool Pics @Denns1989...it is shaping up to be a good year to find those very pristine quiet locations for a Timewarp Re-shoot in 2020...as alluded your's is an inspiring journey of restraint and admiration of the past in restoration with a Vintage Glimpse back at every turn of the Key...it never gets old...it's what helps make one Happy...always appreciate seeing your journey with this Hotrod...

  24. Thanks for the kind words, it certainly is an honour being the caretaker - yes I agree I do need to get some of those vintage shots recreated, I have the Lake Superior location pretty well pegged, have to do some scouting to get the ones I just posted, but I have an idea where, also know the location of the small "farm" where Snoopy was built, would like to get permission to shot some pictures there as well -

I posted one of your latest old pics on the Photoshop thread and two of the digital artists over there took a stab at cleaning it up. Enjoy! tapatalk_1584910603942.jpeg tapatalk_1584910610063.jpeg

  29. One of my favorite photos of Snoopy for a couple reasons, obviously just a good photo & a happy occasion (3rd owners wedding in 1970, the year Snoopy was parked) - but for me as a car nutt & a person who had dreamed of one day owing a 50's / 60's Style 5 Window Hot Rod Ford, imagine this : After hearing rumours for almost 20 years of an old hot rod stowed away in a garage you have now known where it is for a few months, still no idea what it originally looked like (or what it currently looks like), then in April 2011 at an engagement party you are shown this one photo & you are physically less than a hundred feet away from the garage that's holds this jewel, standing in the living room holding this photo of your "dream car"... and it would be over 3 years later in July 2014 that you would finally have the opportunity to actually see the car - The ultimate test of patience for an impatient car nutt & worth the wait in every way possible -
Just realized the date of the engagement party passed, thought I would share this memory
