    Darryl explained that to me. There are small orifices along the edges hooked up to an air supply to blow rain drops off the bubbletop. this was in order to make the car legal with no wipers (wipers would mark the acrylic top) the state of Kansas was ok with this solution at the time and allowed Darryl to license the cars

    In 1960, this 1956 Lincoln was nosed, decked and painted at Trend Customs, by Dave Puhl, for the ungodly sum of $395.00.

    Darryl sure is an innovator.

    I was able to get away without wipers on mine, as I can drive with the dome up.
