My question since I'm not sure - do you have to be a member of the HAMB - to come to this site and search for a thread ? Was wanting to have an older in his 70's gentleman come to the sight and look at the history of Dallas - mainly the Caddo Mills drag strip. Another guy that just didn't take pictures of his cars. Hr ran a 1934 sedan with an Oldsmobile about 1960-61 until the end of the track. Thanks !

You can search without membership but as alluded especially from a phone those stupid annoying adds are easy to hit by accident...that in a sense while annoying all you do is hit the back ****on and try again...

You could email him the link to the thread and he just has to clic and enjoy...easier...

You can also search on the big ol' internet and put hamb after the subject and get some pretty good results.

Hell that's why i joined you guys. Every time i googled anything to do with a hot rod of any kind, my answer always came from here. Hard to argue with this amount of experience and knowledge.

Thanks....he does have a wife that will help.....bought some 1940 Ford original stuff from him this weekend that he took off his 40 sedan he built about 30 years or so back - he replaced them with new parts from the dealers of the day. Thought I might steer him this way - I already did a search outside the HAMB and didn't get much....but without the HAMB tag...

If he can use a computer to come to the Hamb site, ( not sight ), using google and the word Hamb, which is usually a better search option than the Hamb search feature, ( sorry Ryan), surely he could spend 10 minutes and register......... and as others have said , avoid the ads......
