On this date in 1957 "Fireball" Roberts won the race at Langhorne Speedway in Pennsylvania in the #22 Paul Goldsmith finished 2nd in the #3 Ford built by Smokey Unick.

it's interesting looking at all the old ***embly line pic's.....so many people working on 1 car...
unlike the present...not 1 person,just robots....the cars are built almost untouched by human hands....so sad

 

Now the folks guessing the weather for the Pittsburgh area have changed their minds. We will get rain instead of snow flurries!

I believe that's a water leak test at the plant. Car washes were much more sophisticated than that, even back in the Fitties...
