The black touring car with all white tires in Swi66's pictures is the very first Dodge Brothers car built, Ol' Bessy. The last documentation I have on it it was in the Tenn. Kentucky area with 300,000 miles on it, in the mid '60's. That is the two Brothers in the back seat. The first car was built Nov. 15, 1914 and they built 369 more until Dec. 31. Then they built 45,000 in 1915.
Either the people all lean to one side because the house does, or the camera was tilted. Williston ND '37 ~
This picture reminded me of my old neighbor. He always said his luck was so bad if he won half a woman he'd get the half that eats and talks.
That is called a Budd car. Its a motorized train car manufactured by Budd. A lot of RR used them to transport workers. My dad worked for Western Pacific. I rode in one of those a few times through the feather River Canyon before the Oroville dam was built...Usually in the middle of the night
