What is the outlet behind the drivers door on #92? Would they be running the exhaust through the car?

 

Could be exhaust? It looks like there is a similar opening on the other side of the car. It is partially hidden by the tire. Different paint job on this car though. Information I found says he ran at Pikes Peak three years. This picture could be from a race other than at Pikes Peak.

 

I think your guess was correct, that last pic is not in the Pikes Peak area. Looks more like NM or Az
