Didn't realize the money shot was blurry until i came in the house, but the drivers side is done other than the tie rod end. Dive into the right side Wednesday Screenshot_20200608-211605_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20200608-211608_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20200608-211612_Gallery.jpg

Interesting on the Delco parts being, Made in China. Some years back, I bought a complete, Tri-Five, front end rebuild kit (ball joints, tie rod ends, etc) from one of the Tri-Five vendors; advertised as Made in U.S.A. When it arrived, ALL the parts had Made in China, on all the boxes. I still have the rebuild kit; figured anything else I might have bought would have also been Made in China. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

I've got a buddy that works at wholesale auto, it's an old parts store, been there for years. I was talking to him about the whole made in China thing, and he said that sadly it's just about all made in China. I guess they have poor quality and better quality over there too lol

Same goes for AC Delco oil filters. Made in China for years by small children.

  20. Spin on Oil Filters. #1 cause of bearing wear and failure. Simple answer for me. I never wonder what it's doing or if it's doing. Just open and take a look, clean it and put it back on.

Yeah right?? I paid close attention to the clearance on the pitman arm when i made the left side, guess i dropped the ball when i did the right lol. I'll pull the pipe out and pie cut it for some angle.... or plan my trips so i don't have to turn sharply to the right! :D:D:D

Yeah, that was probably a bad ides. You're doing a nice build on the car...probably not the time to start with the "trailer park" engineering;)
