Anyone else had to replace these? Oh what fun replicating stuff! Got a lower door repair kit on order from EMS for the other door. Just too many holes to make patches for. Bit the bullet and bought it since it’s available.
I made a straight one from aluminum angle as one of mine was shot. I've never seen them for sale. It should be easy to make.
After re-using the original wavy and then having to make my own straight version on the other side, I would guess they did it to make it easier to bend over and it "bites" the gasket a little better.
