I like about all 50's Buicks but I have a real soft spot for 55s, they are extra Special!
To me 50's Buicks are just Super, the best of the Century, when you drive a Buick you are truly the master of the highway, people will call you a Roadmaster!!!:D

Do any of you recognize the fitment of these NOS Foxcrafts? Marked 51-53 Buick and do not fit my 53 Roadmaster, Special maybe?

Beautiful car. I nearly bought that several years ago when the original builder was selling as he was completing an equally gorgeous Shoebox Ford.

Agreed, I'm hopefully getting my 53 Cadillac trunk which should help smooth thing out and help visually extend the quarters. The Buick lid is a bit abrupt.

I call it a "Kool Torpedo"
I had one when I was in high school , about 1979, it was actually my second car .
My friend's had Camaros, Chevelles , Mopars,...I did also after the Buick..but I wanted something different, and different it was, it was a 1947 Buick 2dr Torpedo..
Discovered a crack damn neer the full length of the straight 8...so I filled it with water and drove it up the street and around the block, first stick shift I ever drove, then sold it...
I have had several old Buicks through the years , but that one was the coolest body style.

That's always been my thought on buicks, all front but the extension of rear quarters, or maybe move the parcel try forwards with a chop.
