Every time I see this thread I kick myself for not buying this Coupe before you did. My only relief is that it is in great hands. Well done!

I looked at it when he parked it. I was already in the middle of building mine and just couldn't pull the trigger on it at that time. Glad to see it turned out like it did. D

Yep. Epoxy to hold the tear together, then ground out the back and added 3 layers of resin & mat.

Well I'm glad you didn't buy it before me!

Thanks, but I'm gonna put the original 2 piece hood that came with the car back on.

likewise. I had 2 others at the time. I looked it over, crawled underneath, etc. I walked away, then convinced the wife, started gathering funds, had holding cash in hand, walked back to buy it and the deal was being done. I just missed it, but it’s for the best.

I was able to check it out when it was parked up the hill by the cabin. It turned out great.

If need anymore tapes for that I have a bunch of both kinds of music. Country and Western. If that is indeed an 8 track. Don't believe I have any 4 track stuff. D

Sure, I’d love some old country/western 8 tracks. I’ve picked up a few over the years but can always use more. I even have a 50 year old match book to shove between the 8-track and the player to line it up better (the old timers will remember that trick)!!!

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone. It turned out pretty close to how I imagined. Looking back there are definitely things I would have done differently, but it is what it is. I’d like to thank the HAMBers that turned a wrench or gave/sold me parts (or both) along the way. Here are the ones I can remember: Alchemy, Threeimpalas, Chickenridgerods, Rocky, Porknbeaner, LM14, Maystreetrelics, 56sedandelivery, Titus, Oldcarguy77, and Krylon32. Plus anyone else who gave me advice along the way. And a few parts came from these Alliance vendors: Cornhusker, Pete & Jakes, Coker, and SoCal. Support those companies if you can.

Thanks to the amazing power of the HAMB, I have an old picture of my coupe from back in the day…..sort of. @quick85 took this picture in Feb of 1975 at the Auto Show in Chicago. Behind the Vette you can see my Coupe. He doesn’t have any other pics of the Coupe or Vette but remembers that the cars were in the main lobby as a display when you entered to get your tickets. Does anyone have any pics or programs from that event? Or maybe recognize the Vette since it’s possible that owner might have been buddies with my 32’s owner?

@Corn Fed I searched this thread but I didn't see, what's up with the chrome dash? It's really slick. Did you modify it and have it chromed or find a chromed one?

    @-Brent-
New chrome. It was pricey to do but with the moldings all chromed, I think the car needed it. Especially since the car originally had such a unique dash I couldnt just stick a painted dash back in there.
