I am 6579, so in the total of members I guess that is a low number.
There was a thread a few years ago about (I think) the first 100 members and who they were?
Some one smarter than me might be able to dig it up.

 

I'm a johnny-come-lately at 222725, but I guess if membership is approaching 1.2 million, I wasn't that late... LOL

Every time I see a thread about the early HAMB, I am struck by how many OG's are still hanging around after almost 20years. I'm #351 like a damn Ford engine. I would gladly trade for a better number, like 389 which would be much more "me"

Oh man, I remember the crash or was it an update in 2001. I was still lurking then. I also liked the old HAMB logo with the Radir wheel and Cheater slick

 

On a second thought, I guess I was lurking for a couple of years because I was afraid to ask a silly question and get my ass handed as a newbie.Plus I was also scared of Germ. So I finally signed up and started posting and asking and all of my nightmares came true, hahahha. Luckily I didn´t understand all of what Germ wrote, otherwise I may have left, hahahahaha I can´t believe it´s been so long.

Yeah like everyone’s saying these are just numbers from the 2001 update.

And Ryan has talked about this several times thought I haven't bothered to do a search for it.

it started with the jalopy journal, then a mailing list and then they bitched enough for one of those new fangled forums/ message boards that he made one and said “fine here’s your hokey ass message board” that’s how I recall it anyhow.

future Ryan states had he known it would become what it has that he may have chosen a different name lol.

Ive been here since... 97 ish? It was before the Pokémon version that @Tman mentioned. I remember a ton of hours in the chat room as well
