  3. Nah, as long as he can get to the Primary, he's golden. Doesn't look more cramped than in a Road Glide or Softail. I am digging the hell outta this build! This thing is bitchin'. I'd love to tear around town in it.

    Totally agree on the build! Glad to hear servicing will not be a task. I’m not a cycle guy so I have no clue.

    Now, I'm sitting here, salivating, and giving my Softail the hairy eyeball. Feverishly glancing back and forth between the cutting torch and the bike. Hmmm. :)

    Pumpman: it handles pretty darn good, almost no body roll. but, rear suspension is too soft (and lower than I want)... got some wheel hope once. Turning radius seems too big, turns like a car....
    ccain…. LOL, very funny.

    The Good; Has plenty of power and handles good.
    The Bad; Shaking engine, more than I expected (exhaust hangers need to be softer). Master cylinder started leaking, lots of primary/tranny/chain noise (maybe interior will quite a little) fuel gauge quite working and had a few fuel starvation problems.
    The Also; Needs practice to drive, clutch on right hand shifter is very odd. Can't decide to 2 foot brake/accelerator, or right foot both.... (had a few issues of hold brake and letting out clutch :(

    Thanks for the video! As cool as those crazy tires look I bet they are not ever going to give you a smooth, quite ride. What are they off of anyway?

    Front tires are "dual sport" motorcycle rear, designed for both street and off road use.

    Took to get weighed and a "Pre-Inspection" look at by PA certified "enhanced inspection mechanic" yesterday. Got few little things he wants changed, but now am ready to finish welding and painting chassis.

    It weighted 1320 lbs. including me...

    What did you end up with for wheelbase and track? Like the results so far. Looking forward to seeing it with some paint on the bodywork.

    Not super happy with center console yet. I made out of 14 gauge and it is tough to work with. (under pad is storage compartment, hinges forward)
    So anyone have idea? looks like something should be between driver seat and center padded arm rest. like a parking brake lever... I was thinking a vintage ash tray or ? shifter boot will cover alittle of it....

    Make a padded armrest. Everybody needs at least one armrest, and you don't have ANY since there's no doors. :D

    The grey pad (with cup holds) works as an arm rest ok'ish for driver, but perfect for passenger.

    If it were asymmetrical the opposite way you could put in a grab handle for the passenger.

    Wouldn't want one for the driver, though. Keep both hands on the wheel if your tooting along that quick.

    I was sitting in passenger seat, and a grab handle on the drivers side of pad might work pretty good for the passenger... still thinking...

    little bit of updates....
    So the rear end suspension was very soft, and is kind of "wiggly" when hard on the throttle, (also the steering seems pretty quick). So I swapped out the rear coil over shocks springs for heavier ones.

    also finally got around to removing front suspension brackets to finish welding and paint. These brackets mount the front axle to the leaf springs, control arms, shocks, sway bar links and steering rack.
