What's the best way to mount Cadillac Sombrero hubcaps to a late model GM wheel? I have been told to pop-rivet a beauty ring to the inside somehow ?
    Thanks for any help!

So a search, there was once a post about them. It's a little involved if you want them to look right.

And unless you're hellbent on using "Z-man", you might want to reconsider the handle. There's already one "zman" on the HAMB, and believe me, you wouldn't want to get mistaken for him.

Many years ago a friend had me take his sombrero cap and a narrow beauty ring from like a '51 Merc? and make short welds where the two touched on the edges ( placed Sombrero over trim ring). Worked good, didn't even see welds.

Try and find a set from an Ambulance, they fit right on a 15" wheel. I got a set on the cl***ifieds here a while back for my 47 chev and they fit right on. There was a guy at Iola that had 2, he wanted 200 each for them but they looked nos.
