Technical Slant pan hydro question

    I don’t think any of the ‘Hydro’s’ had a vacuum modulator

    No, used linkage up to the carb, with a funky bracket with a spring and bell crank. This worked passing gear and I believe the up shifts.

    What BJR said but it is critical this is adjusted correctly. Definitely no vacuum modulator.
     
  5. Yeah, I need to get a link to adjust. It hangs in 2nd until I let off the gas.

    TV rod goes to the carb and senses the throttle position. This is very important to have connected and adjusted correctly. Disconnect the cup from the ball at the carb. You should have to pull it about a 1/4 of an inch to get it to snap on if adjusted correctly...

    What engine/Hydro combination are you using? That would determine how to adjust the throttle valve linkage...
