    Thank you.
I’ll add this, I just cut and rearranged the stock lower firewall. No pics of it on this iPad but this is what I did. Just moved the stock recessed area out to the edges, and made a new center section. 45FFBB6C-5DAE-4C2E-A834-2D227B4737A7.jpeg

One lower I did, long ago, for a customer:

That had a Y-Block, backed by a TH350, on an adapter.

Badshifter we are on the same page I feel more confident now, in fact your truck reminds me a lot of my aluminum buick powered 29 pickup in my dropped axle post here on the HAMB the gray one. The yellow 29 roadster is the one I am putting the chev in Are you still using the stock tank? Thanks Rich

Hi Deuce, yes I’m still using the stock tank. I’ve seen your 29 on that thread, looks good.
Looking forward to seeing the roadster build.

Does anyone know how to transfer the pictures of my two 29's from my dropped axle thread to this thread? Thanks Rich

The yellow roadster resembles the Helms Bakery family '29.

It is the Helms Bakery Roadster. Going to put the Ford industrial motor and Borg Warner T 87 trans aside. Car will not be altered so it can always be put back as it was. Rich

My friend Dennis Murray built the intake and header, while he had it, and I think he still misses it.

My buddy used one of those small garden wheelbarrows to make the recess in the firewall on his 29 roadster. That thing didn't have any foot or legroom in it though. I only drove it once for any distance and it was not comfortable to drive. I think his shoe size was a bit smaller than mine and he wore flip flops when going to car events and I think drove barefooted.

Go to that thread and right click on the photo you want to move click on "copy image location" then go to this thread and start a reply. Click on the square in the top line next to the smily face. A box will pop up paste the photo info you copied in the box and enter. Your photo is now in this thread. :)

Here's a '29 Tudor with an Olds "big'block" which is slightly larger than SBC .Anything can be made to fit, with enough head scratching. WIN_20200618_13_06_02_Pro.jpg The body is channeled 3" over the frame The lower is a recessed section from Ch***is Engineering, Notched upper for dist. clearance. **** canned the original tank. I don't understand why any one would want 7 gallons of gas in their lap
