That 36 (35?) three window is in a very rare Seaside Gas Station in California with old California plates. Nice pic Loudbang, thanks 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
I think that is Wally Meskowski pouring methanol in a car he built and that is Bud Tingelstad in the car. Look at all those nice single axle trailers most with single poles on the front for a few tires and I don't see a single pickup tow vehicle. They all look like cars and station wagons. The closest I came to seeing something like this is person was when my dad took me to my first ever Sprint car race at Ascot in 1964. It was my first time to see Sprint cars on dirt with no roll cages. The name I remember the most from that night was Bob Hogle. I guess I was 11 years old and I was amazed when the cars came out of turn four their front tires were turned all the way to the right pointing at the wall. I told my dad that night that I wanted to do that, I wanted to drive a Sprint car. Bobby Marshall comment and picture from his collection. The second pic is me from my collection, family Midget, going to races with my Dad/Mom, I raced 1970 through 1991, memories, Priceless ! 1954, myself, dreaming of being a driver, my Uncle Chester was the driver at this time by wicarnut posted Jan 20, 2014 at 5:27 PM
This would have disappointed me as much as that time that I sent away for those "X-ray glasses" and finally realized they will NOT see though ladies dresses as suggested in the comic book.
