    The late Budd "the Kat from AMT" Anderson with El Matador and the Styline T-Bird. I was fortunate toknow himfor a rew yers before his death.

  11. A LaDawri was a Fiberglass kit car made in the late 50's through the mid 60's. The Corvette with the ugly front end is not one them.

    Not La Dawri. It's Acme or one of the other short-lived custom fiberglass companies. Chances are it had been in a front-end accident and the custom nose was cheaper than factory bodywork.

    Looks like it could be possible, and I’d say that photo was taken in the Infield at the Indy 500.

    They had one of these at Auto City in Portsmouth, NH that some Airman from PAFB traded it in. We were looking it over until my brother sat down on the nose and some lady came over and yell at us and told us to leave the building. I always had a bad taste in my mouth when seeing or reading about these fiberglass add ons.
