Sometimes you just put off stuff. In my case suffering with s ****ola chrome water neck that leaks every couple years. Well as my buddy Stan used to say “I’ve had all I can stands and can’t stand no more”. Have welder will travel. Found some s**** laying around. Yes, it’s overkill, but So far it’s working great. Did I waste my time? To Be Determined!

I guess if you can't find an original aluminum one, or an old cast iron replacement in your stash of parts, that'll sure do!

It may be not finding an original with the angle he needs and the after market diecast ones leak.

I'm sure now that I've taken the time I will find a dozen of each.

I just buy a Four Season's replacement, or use an original cast one, and have it plated....

Both those options involve spending money! Which is bad enough on it's own! But one option involves spending money on sum-flung-dung parts, that's just NOT an option for me. I'd rather pay double and do it myself even if I had to waste a day doing it. Doing my best to avoid China parts. This was more or less free (bonus) as I made it from s**** laying around.
