I've been having all kinds of fun with my nailhead powered model A sedan over the last few years, check my thread 'the shAm sedan', and had no intention of moving it on but the dream car has always been a 32 Ford 5 window coupe. When one popped up for sale on a facebook page I thought it was too good a deal not to go for so I jumped on it.
The deal was done a few months ago and I have had to wait for it to be shipped from Oshkosh Wi. all the way to here in the UK.
    It's a Henry Ford body
    Repro chassis
dropped beam axle and juice brakes
9 inch rear end on parallel leaf kit
241ci Dodge red ram hemi and 80's Ford pick up 3 speed overdrive trans
Guess you need to see the pics!

My sedan which is now for sale.

    Plans?
Not 100% decided as yet. The body has a few issues and some of it needs re engineering so I think the best way forward is to tear it down and build it back up. Nothing has been ruled out in terms of chopping or channeling etc In fact I've found evidence that the body was channeled before.
I love the 60's drag coupe look so it may head in that direction. Once the sedan sells I will have the space to begin the rebuild.

  2. I agree,32 five windows are the best. I think starting from the beginning is the best idea. What am I looking at in the photo of the motor? What is that coming from the firewall to the front of the frame? Good luck with build!

Awesome Hot Rod, love it .... '60's drag style is my favorite, period. Keep sharing your adventure with it.

Yes I agree with @ct1932ford There's some dodgy engineering, wiring and plumbing but you've got some great ingredients to work with to build an excellent 5 window.
Mark you really need to get another 5 window, you know you want one.

That's the clutch master cylinder. Pedal set up is one of things that needs addressing.

Afraid so. The truck went a few years ago to be replaced by the nailhead sedan. It still survives, virtually unchanged, in Germany.
