Technical Please Help! 1950 Mercury Camber Adjustment wrench size?

  3. Assuming the Mercury uses the same eccentric as Ford, then it is 1-5/16". The Ford service tool to adjust this is a u-shaped special tool that allows adjustment with the tire still on. I bought a 1-5/16" hydraulic coupling wrench (because it needed to be thin), and made my own.

  5. The Ford service wrenches were made by K R Wilson co., p/n 3046-n for the upper control arm, and p/n 3089-n for the lower. They are hard to find, but easy to make something that works. If you are running dropped springs, there will not be enough "travel" in the eccentric to dial in the camber, and a camber kit may be necessary.
