Thanks for pic Bleach. There were states where the new FOUR headlights were not legal so cars sold there had the awkward looking single headlights in a fender designed/styled for four headlight system.
Looked as unnatural as the FLEET GMC trucks with massive grilles n bumper replaced with mesh n plain Chevrolet bumper so they could compete in low price fleet market. In 1958 n 59 four headlights downsized to two.

I remember those Dodge D800 Swing away fender models with 413 ci gas engine easy to swap the plugs and pints but I always hit my head on the hood..........................................
