    The brewery is still there. In the late sixties they had a small theme park on premises-- a lake with a boat ride, animal acts, and for the grown ups free beer. The beer business got good and they needed more room to brew. So the whole park was dismantled. I took my kids there a couple of times. Great memories. Ron

  4. I had my first taste of Michelob at that Busch Gardens. I wasn't a grown up then :D
    The story I heard behind tearing down the gardens was due to too many people stopping there for free beer after work and the increase of drunk driving.
