The second photo is a San Diego Prowlers car, the owner was a Navy man on leave, he had visited a friend in Iowa and then drove to our club’s event in Illinois. August, 1976.

The 32 in post #9 resides nearby and the owner has attended several car shows with it. Quite the ride in person, well detailed throughout.

 

I'd love to see some pics from other angles and from the back. It's a really slick hot rod.

The striping is subtle, which is perfect for a car like this. It's the perfect amount of restraint for a car with a lot wild going on.

My favorite panel striped....because of it's history. The Stieber, Norton, Maron, Kalivoda and Hamlin roadster. Interesting story on this car. Ryan posted an article on it in 2018.

^^^I was going to paint my firewall white in my truck, now I am thinking it needs to be black and striped to match the outside after see that^^^^Funny the impact some of these threads can have on your plans.
