Can anyone help me out with this Have a French block Flathead putting a scat rotating assembly in it The crank came with out any woodruff keys i called Scat and they gave me some dimensions that i cant find anywhere So i seen somewhere someone said a PK-9 woodruff key but i think it needs another number But Im not sure on that either. So any help i could get from the Group would be Greatly Appreciated . Im looking for the Crank Gear Key and the Lower pully key its a March lower Pully It looks to be around a 1 1/4 long the crank gear key looks about 5/8 long Please Help If You Can . Just cant believe Scat would not include the Keys.
I’d assume it would be the same as the crank you’re replacing. I/e a SBC v SBC Scat would be the same The reason I say this I doubt they would expect you to buy some obscure pulley that matches up to their crank, you never know, I just kinda doubt it
If the crank key way is not machined like a Ford,,,,,,or takes Ford keys,,,,I suspect the Scat crank . This was not a “second “ crank is it ?,,,,,,seems like a Flathead key should be the same . By the way,,,what are the key dimensions from Scat ? Tommy

Scat Said 15/64 X 5/8 long and lower pully was same but 1 5/16 long if you try and look that up any where 15/64 does not exist 1/4 is closest and i can machine thickness to fit but the never gave a height dimension either Thanks for you help on this
Thank you everybody but still need help to solve this I may have found one in a old Crank i found have to check it out tomorrow i will let you know when i can go dig it out
Vanpelt shows this keys for the timing gear on 38 /48 The macs link backs it up. 74153-S Key - timing gear to crankshaft (1" x ¼") $1.50 15/64 or .234365 is .015625 less than 1/4 =.250 Macs matches the 74153-S number with this one Ford - Ford - Ford Crankshaft Gear Woodruff Key - Ford Flathead V8 90 & 100 HP | 74153-S - Macs Auto Parts
