Technical S-W tach sender help...

Hi guys
Ive been looking around and I've come to the conclusion that I'm not sure which external control box i need? Pretty sure i need one? V-8 application. Thanks for your time!

Its been awhile since I did mine... but I think you need a model 208 sending unit...
Please don't hold me to that, and I am sure if I am wrong someone more familiar will post the correct info...

I'm not sure if this helps or just confuses the matter more. It references you 812831 tach. It's from a 1968 S/W catalog. This electric stuff sure is spooky.

 

No wonder guys end up buying repop tachs and just hang the old boxes on their firewall

 

At 5000 I’d say that was a good find..

 

Im not sure of the value but may flip it

 

The Sun tach takes the eb9a box SW are different

 

I believe it was in reference to the RPM's
