    Hey gang,
I've been a memeber on the hamb for some time, but dont post alot. Is there a minimum amount of posts I need before I can PM someone? ronnieroadster Has a dry sump pump listed for sale, but there is no option to PM him, even if i scroll over his user name. Help would greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

I understand them trying to weed out scammers, but it alienates the people who dont post a whole lot. Hopefully it will get his attention. Either that or I make random comments until i get to 10 posts

actually, nothing at the moment lol, but I would like to use it on a french flathead block and use it to build a 32 3 window coupe inspired by the proportions of a 1929 Ruxton. One piece at a time...

I have a few colors in mind (I appreciate it) Black is always a classy choice, but also a very deep non metallic purple also came to mind.

I'd like for it to have 4 wheel independent suspension, similar to alfa's and mercedes benz's of the late 1930's. I was thinking of using VW beetle suspension parts. Any other donor Ideas? I know that its usually about soild axles around here, but I want this thing to handle corners well, while still keeping it looking Pre War

Just sent Ronnie a PM, told him to join in this thread. You are new here so scan the rules VW and independent suspension are frowned on, use Allard stuff and you will be ok. Bob

Hey @DemonOfSpeed, when you say you are trying to "PM" him, what exactly are you doing?

Are you using the "Start Conversation" feature? Because that is the correct way to contact a seller. Hover your cursor over the seller's avatar image and click Start Conversation.

On the other hand, if you are trying to post a reply to his classified ad, that will not work, no matter how many posts you have. Nobody can post a reply to an adverstisement, except the orginal poster.

The only thing that presents itself when I hovered over his user name was profile page, but it must have kicked in because I can now see start a conversation. Thank you all for your help!

That thing is killer! I love weird suspension setups like that. Swing axle and leaf springs...thats what I'm talking about. Vintage Independent suspension. Thanks for the thread recomendations.
