I believed that is Ted Wingate in the full fender-ed 1932 Roadster. Ted was a member of the Los
Angeles Roadsters at the time. Ted later moved to New Hampshire and ran an engine building business.

I had the same experience when I drove from the CHRR up to Lake Success in my roadster one year. The reason for the sign, "No Diving from Bridge" was painfully obvious.
