Spotted this truck off Interstate 95 while driving down to Florida recently. I know it was outside a Museum and still had some of the 56 Chevy cars on it. Found out later it was the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum in Virginia.
Not necessarily a production work truck but I am thinking this might be a good subject for modelling. These are the 1936 predecessors to the GM Futureliners. I am looking for more info leads on these early ones. There ia alot of info at the following link but I am looking for overall specifications like wheelbase, tread overall length and height. I can extrapolate dimensions from photos to make drawings with these basic dimensions. GM Parade of Progress (futurliner.com) I would be happy to delete this post if deemed not appropriate for this one.
just brought one home. got the engine to run going on to the brakes and tires next. need to finish up a jeep project and will get after the Studebaker when it is done. Great to see another big truck
