A couple of Insta, courtesy of Mikey Brown upholstery. I love the lines in these designs, and the simplicity of the sedan
Here is the interior in my Cyclone, the seats are ‘64 Tbird, the pattern of the seats and door panels mimics the factory style but we used perforated material for the pleated area’s and the headliner. The dash pad, steering wheel, and arm rests are done in matching leather. Carpet was custom fitted because a formed carpet would not fit the modified floor. The trunk area was done using factory style material but was custom made to fit the modifications.
My roadster, sewed by Dave's Auto Upholstery in Battle Ground. Lots of leather and square weave. Trunk, with and without removable golf club passage Square weave rugs leather bound nd the behind the seat area when the top is up. Clubs can fit back here too! WiseGuy seat and door panels Dave made. Seat belts that Dave custom webbed to match.
Yep, enough room for the trickle charger to sit in there too. I've had 2 friends copy it already. I should have sold them on line.
Yes, there is a vent that exits behind the rear bumper. The battery is an AGM so it really should not emit anything. If you look to the right of the box you will see a black hose, that is the vent. The wire connector is for the battery tender. There is a fabricated bracket that holds the battery firmly in place, and the box is lined with rubber sheet.
The Odyssey is rated for use in hospitals in confined installations without venting. They claim no vent of the AGM battery is required but I did end up venting my Samsonite just in case but I think it overkill.
Billy - that it a 100% class build all the way around. The make up mirror in your battery box is cool! @kabinenroller - Sano trunk, very nice!
- very slick set up - guess that you have a remote heavy duty cut off switch in case of a wiring short, etc (?)
Yes, there is a master disconnect switch mounted in the trunk not far from the battery. It is controlled by a rod that follows the quarter panel to the roll bar just to the left of the drivers seat, easily accessible even while driving. Jim
I used a 4 post shut off that kills the running engine as well. Mine is located on the exterior rear of the car. It is required at sanctioned tracks when the battery is in the trunk.
nice ! Unusual to see a bench seat in a Tudor. Does the front fold down for access to the rear or is it fixed ? Just curious.
