    Not gospel but.........
The last production year for T-10's in Chevrolets' was 1963, when Muncies were introduced, though some Buicks and ? Pontiacs used T-10's through 1965?66.
As to the 66 Corvette (all Chevys) all four speeds were Muncies, not B/W T-10's.

This article is pretty lengthy and not something most people care about but is about the most comprehensive in terms of transmission applications, engineering changes, gear tooth counts, etc. The bulk of it covers Muncies but does cover the early series T-10's also.
This guy is probably the most published on these transmissions.

Chrysler did indeed use the BW T-10, 1963! Then the next year did there own trans. BTW, I have a '63 T-10 for a Mopar to prove it. Do a quick search online, you will find them.

here is another question...i notice this early T10 has a front bearing retainer that doesn't use an internal seal around the input shaft. Can I replace it with one that does use a seal? otherwise, how does the gear oil stay in the case??

Looks like the front case is aluminum with an steel side cover? I know they make aluminum ones (I actually have one dated 1963) so what is correct? Also my T10D has the small main drive bearing and small front bearing retainer OD (which is also aluminum).
