We're in Roanoke - the only city in VA that can claim it's own giant neon Star on the mountain! Woohoo! And BTW - this is Mrs. Hillbillyhell posting. Don't know jack about BUILDING a car....but I'm the true brains behind this here operation.
Fairfax doesn't have a mountain or a giant neon sign. But when I need to bleed brakes, Mrs. gary55 knows how to push the brake pedal while reading the latest issue of "Southern Living".
Hello , friend. I live in Covington, Va. Our main claim to fame is the stinky Westvaco paper mill.lol. I am currently ressurrecting a '53 BelAir 4 door.
Virgin Hamber? what, where, huh, is there such a thing, have never seen one! Just kidding, i couldnt resist
Im here in Hampton , southeast corner Virginia having fun working on traditional early ford hotrods...
I live in TN but still run VA plates. That count? Wildfire we are just down the road from you, below Bristol.
I'm in Fairfax. I think Gary 55 and I are the only Hambers in the vicinity? There is a lot of old car, hot rod, street rod ,and muscle car ownership in the area... just not much traditional .
Im in Page County, Stanley to be exact. (near Luray ) Is there a Traditional type show in Virginia? I dont think there is. Why dont WE have one? That way we wont have to drive so far.
Hey this Rodman58. I live in Charlottesville but our shop (my dads) is in Stanardsville. I think I saw Confeder rat's car a show in Elkton. I really dug that yellow coupe. I got a shoe box ford rag top in the works. My pop has a 30 Woody. BOTH ford powered (as it should be). Rod
hello guys, i'am in the last capital of the lost hope. got lots of junk! extracab 31-32-33 ford pickup, real fast (chevy powered) lots of old trad cars in 20 mile radius.
Hey gofast62... wow... your in Richmond? I thought the only cars they liked around there were billet, fibergl***, Boyd rods? I lived there all my life until two months ago- and I think I've only seen about two "traditional" cars the whole time. Lee
I live in Arkansas now, but am originally from Grayson County, VA (8th generation in same place)...Mouth of Wilson. We lived in a round house (octagon actually) built in 1872 right on the banks of the New River.
howdy folks, i'm in woodbridge, i keep all my junk in Bealton. there are a couple guys from winchester on the board. It's a shame VA can't claim more representation. Anyone know of a car show in the middle of the state that we can have a Meeting of the Hambers. I plan on taking my '47 ford truck to the antique truck show in Winchester at the end of Sept. http://www.tri-state-antiquetruckshow.com/
i dont know of a meeti g in the middle of va but myself and my best friend rustycoupe215 were trying to plan a get together maybe in so.md some where...
I'm in Annandale, near Falls Church and Alexandria. Can't say I'm a traditional hot rodder but I sure like them. Got a 64 Mercury convertible I'm restoring, and a buddy in the Stafford area with a 56 Vickie.
There's a bunch of us around the Va Beach, Norfolk area. I'm the only one of 'em smart enough to run a computer.
Is'nt there a traditional rod styled event in october or November in Maryland? So local guy from C'ville went last year. There's a handfull of us here in Charlottesville. Rod
the only show i can think of in late october earl nov in md would be wwIII at buds creek thats where domestics vs imports but they have a big car show also and there is a big turnout of cl***ics due to the amount in so.md so
