Last Friday on MAVTV channel 214 on Direct TV I watched Season 7 episode 1 of Full Custom Garage. Ian Ruessel used a Ford Ranger front clip in a 1947 Ford Coupe 1990 and later Ford rangers have almost the same track width as our 1952-56 Fords. The Name of the shows episode is "Tom's Cruiser." I've heard this also plays on the motortrend network as well, you guys may want to check this out as I have seen posts where guys ask about using a Crown Vic suspension which works well in 50's Ford trucks but in our cars the track width is 6" too much.

Found this on Youtube this has a lot of additional videos and details not shown on the link above. The front track width on a 1952-56 Fords is 58" the 1998-2011 Ford Rangers are 58.6"

Unfortunately MT is about 3 years behind on episodes (season 4).

This youtube series looks to go much further into the details than the Full Custom Garage did.
