I picked up this 34 3 window today. Blown 392 Hemi by the late Jr. Thompson with 300 miles on it. Chopped, filled (meh) channeled(meh) really clean body. Needs a lot of cosmetics. No immediate plans other than wheels, cleanup etc. Down the road, get rid of front disc brakes, and rear coil overs.

With wheels, that thing is going to be really bitchin’! I’m with you on channel and filled roof, but that thing is so cool, shit- it doesn’t bother me at all!

That looks mean and sweet all in one. You and Bad Bob should cruise together LOL
Is there a story to go with your pics. Folks love to hear the story. Congrats.
Sounds like you're taking it in the right direction.

Thanks! I remember him telling me a turbo 400, but it's got a kick down cable. Unless it's hooked up to a switch.... Anyhow, no room at the garage at home, it's at work until Monday. More info then.

The previous owner has the story...something like he built it in the 70s, sold it and regretted it. Found it again for sale in 1996 ish. Bought it back, had Jr. Thompson build a Hemi for it, had a car accident (not a hot rod) and put the build on hold for years. Fast forward to a year ago, finished as you see it, scratched the itch and wants a more practical car. I had helped him on a getting it up and running/driving, and a few months ago he offered it to me. Today I handed over the $$ and he gave me the keys, some spare parts, bobbed rear fenders (And the title).

  30. Is there something wrong with the grill that you didn't post any pictures from the front?
