If we had done that with our old cars we would have been arrested, but if the state does it, it is okay.

 

Ok so one of the things I do whenever I see old pics\ads like this is Google maps the location to compare to today. Have found some cool stuff in the past. On this one I put in the sellers address and shows the house....pretty neat lil place. Then for some reason i went ot the first listing for the sale of the house. First off......holy over priced Batman. I could buy a mansion in Upstate New York for that coin. But what was funny is if you cycle through the pics.....the place was a mess, but about half way through the pics shows a car in the driveway under a cover. I can't quite make it out but it looks to be late early to mid 50's. so looks like that place has had a nice car culture lifestyle.

 

This is about the weirdest custom I have ever seen. HRP

 

Wonder if he was able to sell the darned thing. Looks much less valuable than when he started. Was it a T-bird?

 

Scared the hell out of me!

 

It IS an angry looking car. It is probably pissed that it got butchered the way it did.

Having said that, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. The only person whose opinion really matters is the guy that built the car.
