When Quain started this deal him and Greg Porter were running 6.40's now the C/gas cars are faster than that.

Just wondering if the doors are the same as a 37-39 Chevrolet? And Gene Fulton should give Quain contingency money for all the business he has created.

  7. Gonna dump some pics here. Shadyside was awesome but now no 2nd gear. Was a real drag. G-force took it with them and ran it on the dyno after the race. No problems found so it’s back in the car and we’re heading to Florida for the last race of 2020.

    but first here’s another video

  9. Well that didn't go as planned but any day fishing is better than any day working .... um ok. Got a flat on the way down and a super good dude saw us and lead us to a tire shop. That was awesome. Made a good friend and then we got off looking for gas after dark in Greenville Alabama and got lost and promptly got wedged under a low bridge. Yeah can't make this stuff up. But eventually got to the track and killed the pressure plate. Only made one pass. Then on the way back stopped to fix more flats. And that's how we roll.

If it was easy, everyone one would do it.
Sorry to hear things went sideways.
Glad to see it just added another story to share.

P.S. That's one funny looking dog, lol Does it sing "I like to move it, move it!"?

Man that raccoon was so cool!
Well the clutch lever pin fell out. Not sure if it was causing shifting issues.

  21. Wow! Awesome - I lost my HAMB password but found an old computer that had it stored :) thanks for linking this.

Right now the B/G block is at Walden's getting bored and decked. Hoping to run a straight up 392" in B/G this year. Just can't get the 300 pounds out of the car to be competitive in A/G. Not that B/G is any easier .....

  22. Just went to Rob Walden’s to check on the progress. Crank is knife edged and block is ready for final hone.

  23. Fell into some good luck this weekend - was going to help an old guy get rid of a coyote problem and we asked what’s in the barn ? Can we shoot from there? He says go ahead there’s only some junk cars in there.

I tried to be fair on the price - still cheap for a Vicky
