History Help Identify the Rajo Special

Hi all. This photo was taken sometime in the '20's. My grandmother sits behind the wheel with a friend beside her. The photo was probably taken in the San Fernando Valley in So Cal, but I am not sure about that..... Any additional info would be appreciated! Thanks.

Ok, this is weird but I am answering my own question.... I just found these images from the December 23, 1928 edition of the Los Angeles Sunday Times..... It was a promo photo for the soon to be open Legion Ascot Park Speedway in El Sereno, CA http://www.elserenohistoricalsociety.org/Legion_Ascot_.php
... different from the more famous Ascot in Gardena.... The last time I looked up info on this was about 15 years ago and I found nothing.... I love the internet!

 

That is amazing. I laughed out loud reading the pair of queens and 4 Jacks caption under the photo from the paper right when some kid on American idol was being real serous about telling his life story and got a funny look from my wife. Had to do some explaining and show her the photo you posted first.
