I like the benzene on the russian station.

 

The Chaika even makes it more cool.

 

To me Soviet cars always looked like an amalgam of various low to mid level American cars. The two Volgas look like Ramblers from the early to mid 60s. The Chaika looks like a Checker and a '55 Packard made whoopee...

 

Wow, perfect description on the Chaika! Two days ago I didn't know what a Chaika was, sounded like some ad on TV "Don't take Chaika if you have symptoms of the Russian flu".

 

Ha! Good one! Chaikas were reserved for higher level Party apparatchiks and the KGB. If a Chaika showed up at the curb of your shabby apartment building in the wee hours with three knuckle walkers wearing heavy overcoats and wide brim fedoras kiss your family goodbye, you were headed for Siberia at the very least.

 

You guys had me confused for a bit I thought you misspelled Chikita I kept looking for one in the picture like this.
