Sorry no pictures, and I may have posted this before. When I was a 17 year old senior in HS a local florist had a pristine 55 Chevy Sedan Delivery. Plain Jane, 6-cylinder, 3-speed, two single seats... for sale. I saw it one Saturday and it was sold by the next Saturday.
Story of my life: a day late and a dollar short.

  9. One rear door is a sedan delivery. Two rear doors is a panel truck.

  16. Verde do you have any pictures? I may be wrong, but I have a 34 Dodge sedan delivery with one door. Panel trucks of the same year had a hump, and 2 doors?[IMG] 20160215_100152.jpg

  19. I think in the 40's you could get three versions or sizes. The utility sedan delivery, with only 340 built on the car chassis. The panel delivery, and the panel truck were built on the truck chassis.[IMG][IMG] upload_2021-4-5_23-53-32.jpeg

  21. Another one for the Panel truck, and sedan delivery debate is the 35 Willy's. It's not a sedan, but it has only one rear door????[IMG][IMG][IMG]

CA... gonna be a looonnnggg:eek: ride to San Diego!:D
I think they are making it somewhat of a vacation tour as well to visit family along the way. I'm thinking they are gonna get it off the trailer at a family stop to get a bit acclimated to the car and then they may turn in the rental vehicles and take off for home but you never know. The car has certainly proven itself over your many years of ownership and I just tweaked it and added a few gauges... and replaced the leaking gas tank!!:D:D
It really wasn't leaking as in dripping gas... it was just beginning to seep very slowly through some rusted areas.
The problem came when the new owner (me!) decided to scrape off the undercarriage to clean and paint it up a bit!
I scraped off some undercoating that seems a bit dark in a few places and suddenly I had a very small and very slow leak!:D:D See what happens when you go fixing something that ain't broke?!:D:D:D
Replacing the gas tank allowed us to add a gas gauge that could be read without using a stick! The stick WAS calibrated so why would anyone complain?!:D:D

I'm hoping the new owners get to put as many happy miles on the car as y'all did.;)
